The new 2010 Autumn Courses!

It's that time of year again! I am still in Italy, but with August rolling in it is now time to start thinking ahead about our autumn classes. I will be in Dublin soon to set up the new Beginners/ Improvers courses (excited to meet the new students and catch up with the old ones!). So here are the updated details for Autumn/ Winter 2010, you can drop me an email if you would like to reserve a place.

CLASSES: 2 levels, Beginners or Improvers. Aimed at Irish & International students with little to no previous experience in Italian (Beginners) or a previous Basic course completed (Improvers) and an interest in Italy, its language and culture. All ages welcome.

OBJECTIVE: the Beginners' Classes will teach you to communicate within basic everyday situations. You will learn to talk about yourself, your work, hobbies and interest and ask questions, complete transactions in shops, asking for directions and ordering in restaurants and bars. You will become familiar with the alphabet, numerals and Italian phonetic sounds. The Improvers' Classes build on the topics developed in the Beginners class, progressively introducing more complex grammar and conversational topics. Your Italian tutor will also be pleased to discuss current topics and general Italian culture with you. And then there's the fun social aspect- Italian films, nights out, etc.!

METHOD: our private classes are carefully developed and paced specifically for foreign speakers. In a friendly and welcoming environment in the city centre of Dublin you will be taught by a
native speaker with full academic qualifications (BAHons, MA) and extensive experience teaching Italian as a Foreign Language in both Italy and Ireland. With strictly small groups, the level of student-teacher attention often lacking in language schools is guaranteed. Courses place a strong emphasis on the spoken language: while all main grammar points are covered, we aim to empowering the students to deal with everyday communication.

CLASS STRUCTURE:
Beginners' Classes will take place every TUESDAY starting 28th September 2010 while our Improvers' Classes will run on WEDNESDAYS starting from 29th September 2010. Both courses will run in the evening time at a convenient Dublin City Centre location over 10 weeks, to provide you with 15 hours tuition per course (1hr 30' per week). Strictly max 6 students per class. Classes start times & location will be communicated to students by email.

COST & PAYMENT OPTIONS: the Fee for the full 10-week courses (15 hours of private tuition with a native speaking teacher) is
Eur120 all inclusive.
Fee payment is due in full before the course start date. All payment options are available securely through PayPal.

If you would like to reserve a place on the new Beginners or Improvers Classes or have any questions please email learnitaliandublin[at]gmail.com

I look forward to meeting you soon.
A presto, non vedo l'ora!

La Vostra Insegnante,
Susanna
